Accommodation
- QWhat are check-in and check-out times?
- ACheck-in begins from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM.
*Some check-in and check-out times will vary based on stay plan. In these cases, the plan times will take precedence.
- QWhen do cancel fees come into effect?
- AIf the reservation is for up to 14 people, cancel fees will be charged for cancellations starting from 3 days prior to reservation. Details are as follows:
Cancellation Policy
■ No notice, no show: 100%
■ Same day: 100%
■ Day before : 50%
■ 2~3 days before reservation: 30%
■ 4~14 days before reservation{H}: 10%
*{H} denotes holiday seasons: Dec. 31-Jan. 2, Mar. 25-Apr. 7, Nov. 16-19. Outside of holiday seasons, the cancellation policy comes into effect from 3 days notice.
*Depending on stay plans, special cancellation policies may apply and will take precedence over this general policy.

- QWhat payment methods are accepted at the hotel?
- AThe following payment methods are accepted:
Cash, Cashless Payment (PayPay/Alipay/DoCoMo's "d payment"/Merpay), Credit Card (VISA/JCB/American Express/Mastercard/Diners Club/Union Pay) *Some stay plans are cash-only special rates. Please check plan descriptions carefully.
- QWhat are the details of taxes and service charges?
- A
Kyoto City Ordinance accommodation tax, consumption tax, and a bathing tax of 150 yen will be charged per person, per night. The accommodation tax will be charged based on the accommodation fee as follows:
Less than 20,000 yen: 200 yen
20,000–50,000 yen: 500 yen
50,000 yen or more: 1,000 yen
*All rates on the official website include consumption tax but do not include accommodation tax or the bathing tax.
*Service charges are also included in the rates.
- QDo children under school age (not requiring meals or bedding) need to pay for accommodation?
- A Children under 3 years old who sleep with a parent (and do not require meals or extra bedding) stay free of charge.
- QHow many children can share a bed with a parent?
- A The maximum number of children allowed to sleep with adults is equal to the number of adults staying.
Hot Spring
- QAre the guest room baths onsen / hot springs?
- AYes, all guest rooms feature hot springs from “Kyoto Kiyomizu Onsen”.
Please check the hot spring properties as follows:
■ Spring quality: Alkaline simple hot spring (weak hypotonic, low alkalinity spring)
■ Effective for: chronic pain or stiffness of muscles or joints (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lumbago, neuralgia, frozen shoulder, bruises, sprains, etc.), muscle stiffness in motor paralysis, sensitivity to cold, peripheral circulatory disturbance, decreased gastrointestinal function (upset stomach, gas, etc.), mild hypertension, diabetes, mild hypercholesterolemia, mild asthma or emphysema, hemorrhoidal pain, stress-related symptoms, convalescence, fatigue, general health improvement
- QIs there a public bath?
- AAlthough we do not have a public bath, guests can still enjoy a peaceful hot springs experience in the comfort of the specially-designed baths in each guest room.

- AJapanese-style breakfast is served in MURASAKINO DINING, using the finest ingredients from Kyoto and Awajishima.

- QI have food allergies. Can the ingredients be adjusted?
- AWe will do our best to accommodate food allergies. However, we cannot make adjustments on the day of your stay, so please inform us in advance about any dietary restrictions or specific ingredients to avoid.
Please note that food allergies can be a serious matter. If we determine that we are unable to safely accommodate your request, we may have to decline.
If you have any food preferences or dislikes that are not allergy-related, please feel free to contact us. While we cannot guarantee specific requests, we will do our best to make adjustments within our set menu.
- QWhat is the location & timing for food service?
- ADinner & breakfast are served in MURASAKINO DINING.
Hours of operation are as follows:
■ Dinner: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Last Entry)
■ Breakfast: 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM (Last Entry)
- QCan you warm up portable baby food for me?
- ACertainly, please don't hesitate to let us know.
Access/Parking
- QI am arriving by car. Where can I park?
- AWe have free parking both within and in front of the hotel premises. (10 spaces / outdoor / flat parking lot)
- QI am coming by train; is there a pick-up service?
- AWe provide a shuttle service to JR San'in Main Line (Sagano Line) Hanazono Station. If you wish to use this service, please make a reservation in advance. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate all requests depending on vehicle availability.
Service hours: 2:00 PM–6:00 PM, 9:30 AM–11:30 AM.

- AWe will keep your luggage after we receive your request.
